Captain Phil Caliri has been guiding fishing adventures for over 40 years and is the proud owner of the Lady J, the largest private vessel in the Cape Cod fishing charter fleet.

Captain Phil’s journey began as a part-time guide, taking friends and colleagues on tours of the bay and introducing them to the thrill of fishing. What started as a hobby quickly grew into a full-time career, fueled by his passion for the sea and the encouragement of those around him. Today, he is a licensed Ocean Operator and an active member of the Cape Cod Charter Boat Association, recognized for his expertise in striped bass fishing and his knowledge of the Hyannis and Barnstable waters.

Captain Phil established his charter business to share the joy and excitement of fishing with families, friends, and enthusiasts. Whether it’s teaching kids how to fish or helping adults land their first big catch, he takes pride in creating memorable experiences aboard the Lady J. Along the way, he generously shares fishing tips and techniques to help guests enjoy fishing on Cape Cod to the fullest.

One of Captain Phil’s greatest rewards is the friendships he’s built over the years with returning guests. Each trip is an opportunity to create lasting memories, and he looks forward to welcoming new friends to join in the adventure.
